Your Birth & Motherhood Support in Budapest
Moving through pregnancy and birth far from home can feel beautiful — and disorienting at the same time. Different systems. Different expectations. Different language. Imagine a calm, steady space within that complexity.

With clarity, confidence and continuity
Classes & Partner Preparation
There is no shortage of information about birth. Books. Podcasts. Videos. Advice from friends, family and strangers online. Yet many parents arrive at the final weeks of pregnancy still wondering: "Will we know what to do when the time comes?"
My childbirth preparation classes are designed to replace overwhelm with clarity. Together, we explore what labour and birth may look like, how to support the natural process, how to navigate unexpected turns, and how to make informed decisions along the way.
My hope is that you leave feeling less focused on doing everything perfectly and more confident in your ability to meet your baby with trust, knowledge and support.
Pregnancy Counseling
We begin with in-depth prenatal meetings where we take time to understand your wishes, questions, and concerns around birth. Together, we explore your birth preferences, help you navigate the Hungarian maternity system, clarify available medical options, and prepare your partner for their role in the experience. These conversations also create space to address fears, uncertainties, and expectations — because informed and confident decision-making begins with feeling truly supported and understood.
Birth Doula Support
During labour and birth, I provide continuous, steady support throughout the entire experience. I do not rotate shifts, allowing me to remain fully present and emotionally attuned as your birth unfolds. Alongside emotional reassurance, I offer physical comfort measures, calm guidance during unexpected turns, and support with communication whenever needed. While all medical decisions remain between you and your healthcare provider, my role is to help you feel safe, informed, supported, and heard in every stage of the process.

Bereavement Support
Not every birth ends with a baby in your arms. Some journeys ask us to carry love and grief at the same time. Over the years, I have learned that one of the greatest gifts we can offer in moments of loss is simply our presence.
To stay.
To listen.
To remember.
I believe that every baby, no matter how briefly they were here, leaves a mark on the hearts that loved them. And I believe that every family deserves to have their story held with tenderness, dignity, and care. If you find yourself walking this path, you do not have to walk it alone.
“Zsuzsi is one of the most empathetic and attentive people I have ever met. Her knowledge and support made an incredible difference during my birth experience. Her calm presence, thoughtful guidance, and genuine care helped me feel safe, heard, and supported throughout labour. Thanks to her, I was able to experience my birth with confidence rather than fear. I wholeheartedly recommend her to any family preparing for birth. Working with Zsuzsi feels like having both an experienced professional and a trusted friend by your side”
Jana S.
“Zsuzsi was truly meant for this work. She seemed to know instinctively when to step forward, when to offer guidance, and when to simply hold space.
Her support helped us prepare for birth with confidence, and during labour her presence brought calm, reassurance and strength. We felt supported, informed and deeply cared for every step of the way."

A note from Susie:
“As a mother of three who has navigated pregnancy and birth abroad myself, I understand how overwhelming it can feel to prepare for birth far from home.
My hope is that every family who visits this space leaves feeling a little more informed, a little more confident, and a little less alone.”
